Description: The Teens will gather together and continue their learning about the faith. They will think critically, ask hard questions, and seek to make their faith and everyday hands on experience. The meetings really ground themselves in our discussions. We may read a passage, watch a video, or an excerpt from a book.
The resources shared in class will then lead to reflection and dialogue about our faith and each other. We will also be practicing how to be Christians through prayer, reflection, giving, and participating in ministries. We may also go out of the church from time to time to be in the world. Our goal is to engage the mind, heart, hands, and soul of those participating. Food is provided for all who participate.
How to get involved? If you are interested in helping in our ministry you can contact Zach Dyrda. All volunteers need to be certified in Keeping God’s People Safe and have a background check. Each session is lead by the Associate of Children and Youth Formation. Volunteers are needed to help facilitate the lesson, discussion, and have fun with the participants.
